After a hugely successful run as an underground record on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records, Dennis Quin and fellow Dutch outfit Shermanology’s single ‘Move Out Of My Way’ has been picked up by the legendary dance label Champion Records for a re- release. Known for breaking international hits such as; Robin S ‘Show Me Love’, Sandy B ‘Make The World Go Round’, Kristine W ’Feel What You Want’ and Raze ‘Break For Love’ Champion also launched Cheeky Records, which was the foundations and platform for international successes like Faithless & Dido.
‘Move Out Of My Way’ is certainly showing no signs of slowing and lives up to the lyric in the song ‘Move Out Of My Way, Cause I’m Coming Through’!
It’s gained support from the likes of; Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Mistajam and Monki to name a few, all crowning it one of their tracks of the summer and a future anthem on Radio 1. Since the record was released into the underground it’s seen chart topping success on specialist stores such as Beatport and Traxsource and has racked up a significant amount of plays via steaming services such as Spotify & Apple Music. It has been included into a huge selection of playlist including names like; Calvin Harris,DJ Snake & Jaxx Jones and Spotify and Apple Music’s own in-house playlists.
This re-release features a brand-new vocal version of the single an extended mix for the clubs and a previously un-released ‘Three O Three Remix’ which comprises an acid bassline and vocal hooks taken from the original to give it a tougher edge for those edger sets.
It doesn’t end there, there are also some larger remixes to follow, which will feature some of the hottest and most upfront names in dance music. Watch this space!
